The graphics were originally a bit barebones but are looking really nice now, and theres been some interesting recent changes to the rules which fans of the original tabletop may be on the fence about, but I think they are positive changes in the right direction that suit its video game format.40k fans you can do a lot worse than check out Dominus, I have high confidence that is going to be a really nice addition to 40k pc games stable.. Hasn't changed at all so far as I can see in the year I've had alpha access. Doesn't seem like anybody is working on it. The mechanics for gameplay are very poor, very stark contrast to gothic, in fact a reskin of gothic with titans would frankly be much better.. This game is rediculously fun, gaint war-machines purging haretics, this is the 40k game i have been waiting for! titans feel really heavy (except the war-hound), shooting is outstandingly satisfying, with more content to come! all for CDN$12! unforunatly you can not choose the kind of game-mode you want and trying to join a particular game online is nearly impossible. Worst of all, the AI is terrible no options for difficulty and are rediculously easy to beat, with several perfect scores under my bealt. I am excited to see them add more for this game, especialy new weapons and more details to maps.. So far so good. As an avid fan of the Collegia Titanica, this game has shown great promise! I look forward to further development.. The only way to have fun with titans without forking out a kidney and a half, the IP owner obviously decided to capitalize on this and made a board game as well, can't wait until the game is up to speed wit the board game, i really hope the campaign will have some elements of the horus heresy, would love to command the Dies Irae, also hope their will be other game modes like a siege assault mode (have to break a heavily defended fortress), so much potential, so little time.TL;DR: buy it, buy it with money.. Wonderful game!!! I really enjoy this ! It will be better if you guys can add a war mist mode !!. This is a very early review of course since it just hit EA. That said I experienced no crashes. Graphics are more than acceptible for the asking price. So far I have just played Skirmish of course since no campaign yet. I have managed to win both battles I played. Over all I feel that the game is worth the asking price for a nice little turn based mech action. Honestly I enjoyed my time playing it more than I have playing Battletech and I am by far a bigger fan of the Battletech universe than the 40K universe. So if nothing else I think that speaks highly towards the game even at this early stage of development.. Good shape for its early stage.. fun but not finished yet. great prce to. First Major Update for Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus is now available!: Hi everyone! Glenn and I have just released the first Major Update for Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus!Close Combat. Latest update replaces Skirmish AI and scenario play army lists for new challenges!: Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus has just been updated again. This minor update brings in a number of important bug-fixes (full details in the Update Notes in our Steam Discussions forums), but much more exciting is that it also brings in the first revisions for the single-player Skirmish AI and scenario army lists. All Skirmish enemy AI forces and all 12 scenario army lists (player and enemy AI) have been remade to make use of the Titan variants we have added since launch. These new lists should provide fresh challenges to veteran Legates.WHAT'S NEXT?. News! Flanking bonuses and weapon destruction incoming!: While we were very busy for the past couple of months preparing the Banelord for Games Workshop's Skulls for the Skull Throne 3 event, Glenn and I were also spending time in review. Two key changes that were often requested are to introduce flanking mechanics and to make it possible to destroy weapons.Today, we can let you know that the next update will bring in both of these features!FLANKING BONUS. Update makes Dominus' AI a tougher opponent: This fortnight's update brings further AI tweaks aimed at improving the challenge it presents to veteran players. There's a lot more work needed on the AI front, but we're happy it's on the right track. The AI now better prioritises potential targets based on line of sight and proximity. It also makes better, smarter use of Overwatch. From our testing, it uses Overwatch about as frequently as we do, so that's feeling about right. Thanks to all of you for your feedback, questions and words of encouragement in our Steam Discussion forums as Glenn and I continue the journey of bringing Adeptus Titanicus to your PCs. It's all extremely helpful and very much appreciated. That's all for now. See you around the Steam Discussion forums! —Mark & Glenn. Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus updated to fix Multi-Player issue: Early Access Alpha v0.9.4.2.2. Happy Halloween!: Celebrate Halloween this week with a 20% discount on Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus! If you were wondering what's Halloween-y about Titans, let me ask you this: what is it about a 100 feet tall walking battleship blistering with heavy weaponry THAT IS NOT UTTERLY TERRIFYING!!??If you answered "Nothing—Titans are indeed absolutely terrifying", you are correct. :)Happy Halloween!— Mark & Glenn. Update - anti-armour Warhound variant added!: We've added a new Warhound variant to Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus. This latest Warhound variant packs twin Turbo Laser Destructors for great anti-armour capability!
